Fundraising will always be a major part of the operation of the Senior Centre. In order to finance activities and programs Steinbach 55 Plus holds monthly potluck suppers, raffles and sales, banquets and many other special events.

Of the Centre's $100,000 budget, the South Eastman Health Authority provides. The Centre raises through donations, fundraisers, and rentals.

• Perogies are made monthly from September to May by a group of volunteer ladies. These cottage cheese perogies are sold fresh or frozen for just $4.00 per dozen. To make sure you'll get your supply, call 320-4600 to place your order. You will be given the date for pick-up and receive a reminding phone call on the date they are ready.
• "Enjoy" Harmonica Music, a professional tape by Richard Unruh is available at the centre for just $10 with 20% of the proceeds going to the centre. Enjoy the relaxing sounds of familiar tunes played on the harmonica.
